CYCLING GUIDE TO THE SLOVAK JACOB ROUTES

At the opening of the first cycling route in 2010, a guide was published for the central Jacob's Way from Slovenska vas to Trieste with the title:  

 

THE SLOVENIAN CYCLING PATH OF JACOB (100 pages),

In 2012, the Višar branch was marked and marked, and in 2014 the Prekmursko-Styria branch of the Jacob's Way. Thus, on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the Association of Friends of the Way of St. Jakob in Slovenia and the 5th anniversary of the cycling section in 2015, an updated guide with all three routes with the same title 

THE SLOVENIAN CYCLING ROAD OF JACOB - 2nd edition (250 pages).
by Helena and Franc Štefanič. 

The guide contains information on the creation of the Spanish and Slovenian Camino, information on the activities of the Society of Jacob, it describes in detail the Slovenian cycling routes, which are drawn on maps, the sights along the route, all the signs of God and the chapels along the route are presented pictorially, a pilgrimage hymn has been published that describes all three Slovenian Ways of Jacob...

You can order the Slovenian Cycling Route of Jacob's guide from the authors Helena and Franca Štefanič (details are given in the contact on the website) and pay upon collection. You can also buy it in Catholic bookstores: Družina Bookstore in Ljubljana, Ognjišče Bookstore in Kranj, Metropolitana Bishop's Bookstore in Ljubljana, Mohorjevi Bookstore in Ljubljana and Celje, and Salve Bookstore in Ljubljana. JAKOB'S CYCLING ROUTE OF SLOVENIA - FROM SLOVENIA VILLA TO TRIESTE

On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the Association of Friends of the Way of St. Jakob in Slovenia and the 5-year anniversary of the cycling section, in 2015 the cycling section filmed a 5-day pilgrimage along the central Šentjakob route from Slovenska vasa to Trieste with a professional videographer. The film shows beautiful Slovenian landscapes and the course of an organized pilgrimage led by the cycling section. It is equipped with text and music.    

The editing of the two and a half hour long documentary entitled SLOVENSKA KOLESARSKA JAKOBOVA POT – OD SLOVENSKA VASI DO TRIEST was made on Exodus TV. The film can be watched in daily stages in the archive of their website. It is also possible to order a double DVD by contacting the Association of Cycling Jakobova pot Slovenia - Camino.
